is a Life in the Spirit Seminar?

A Spiritual formation experience that
introduces
participants to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit

A chance to revitalize
and release
the gifts, fruits and charisms of the Holy Spirit in our journey of
faith.

evangelistic tool to draw
others closer
to
Christ
and His infinite love.
Life
in The Spirit Seminars
are
a valuable tool to help people establish and strengthen
the foundation of a truly Christian life.
This
is accomplished by helping participants:
*
establish and deepen their personal
relationship
with Jesus
*
Yield to the action
of the Holy Spirit working in their lives so they can experience
His presence
more fully
as He works in and through them
*Develop
a sense of fellowship with
a Christian community with which they can receive support and share
their lives
What
is the Format of the Seminar?
A
core team conducts seven sessions (once a week for seven weeks) that
consist of:
*Praise
and worship through music and prayer
*Short
presentation on various topics
*Small
group discussion
*Closing
prayer
*Food
& fellowship
The
topics of discussion include:
*God's
Love
*Salvation
*New
life
*Receiving
God's Gift
*Praying
for baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5)
*Growth
*Transformation
in Christ
The
first
four weeks
are
designed to help participants grow spiritually and prepare themselves to
strengthen their personal relationship with Jesus.
During
the fifth
week
participants are invited to make a commitment to Jesus and pray with
others to be baptized in the Spirit (Luke 11:13)
The
final
two weeks
of
the seminar are designed to help participants enter into the process of
continuous spiritual growth by strengthening their relationship with the
Lord.
